Psychiatric Evaluations

To better understand you and your condition, your provider may ask you:

Description of behaviors and symptoms which includes physical and psychiatric symptoms

 

Effects of behaviors or symptoms on:

• Work performance

• School performance

• Relationships and interactions with others 

 

Personal and family history of emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders

 

Complete medical history, including description of your overall physical health 

 

In some cases lab tests, diagnostic tests, x-rays, CT, MRI, ECG results

Previous psychiatric, psychological treatments, medications
