A New Hope For Depression *
What is TMS?
TMS is a procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of major depression. It's an FDA-approved noninvasive procedure, done without using surgery or cutting the skin. TMS usually is used only when other depression treatments haven't been effective.
How Does It Work?
An electromagnetic coil is placed against the scalp of your head. This coil delivers magnetic pulses that stimulate nerve cells in the region of your brain involved in mood control and depression. It's thought to activate regions of the brain that have decreased activity during depression.
TMS Works When Antidepressants Don't
Depression is a treatable condition. But for some people, standard treatments aren't effective. Repetitive TMS may be used when standard treatments such as medicines and psychotherapy don't work.
TMS is sometimes used to treat OCD, migraines and to help people stop smoking after other treatments have not been successful.
Proven Depression Relief That Lasts
Studies show that with each unsuccessful medication attempt, chances of abandoning treatment increase. However, TMS has response and remission rates that cannot be denied, including durability for up to 12 months.
Fast results
TMS is an in-office treatment consisting of 36 sessions completed over the course of 36 consecutive business days (Monday-Friday). Each session lasts as little as 19 minutes per daily session over the course of 6 weeks.

Advanced treatment for depression

NOT medication
A non-drug alternative without the side effects of medication

NOT shock therapy
Uses focused magnetic pulses (similar to an MRI), that revitalize inactive synapses in your brain

NON-invasive
No sedation or anesthesia needed, and sessions have no recovery time
